Synopsis of Rumble Fish

Rusty James (Matt Dillon) is a idle little gangster. One day he accepted the challenge of Biff Wilcox, the leader of another gang, and agreed that the two would fight alone at night. Rusty, his girlfriend Patty (Diane Lane) and a few friends came to the parking lot. Rusty defeated Biff, but Biff stabbed Rusty with a knife. At this time, Rusty's brother motorcyclist (Mickey Rourke) appeared. He took Rusty away and treated him, and the two drank and chatted all night. The motorcyclist was once a gang member, but later got tired of the life of fighting and killing, and tried to find his previous peaceful life. But his younger brother is full of yearning for the exciting life his brother used to have. A motorcyclist talks about his love for the "fighting fish" in his pet shop and how he wants to give those fish their freedom one day. Later, he made up his mind to break into a pet store at night, and the theft attracted the police...
