Synopsis of Badlands

After Holly (Sissy Spacek)'s mother passed away, her father took her to move to a small town in South Dakota. There, 15-year-old Holly met Kit (Martin Sheen), a gangster who was 10 years older than her. The two soon became lovers. Kit has nothing to do all day long, working odd jobs. Holly's father is very opposed to their relationship. One day, Kit broke into Holly's home, packed Holly's luggage, and wanted to take Holly away to fly away, but Holly's father stopped him. Kit shot and killed Holly's father. Later, Kit set fire to Holly's house, pretending that all three people were killed in the fire. Kit drove Holly to a primitive forest, and the two lived like primitive people. But soon, someone discovered their traces. After he killed these people, he took Holly and fled everywhere...
