Synopsis of Rome
The story takes place in "Roma", a middle-class neighborhood in Mexico City, telling the story of a young maid, Cleo (played by Yalitza Aparicio), who works in the home of her employer Sofia (played by Marina de Tavira). Sofia's husband is away from home for a long time, and Sofia's four children are taken care of by the maid Cleo. Two sudden accidents hit the maid Cleo and her employer Sofia at the same time. How should they face the bitter and confused life? Four children seemed to be the hope. This is a film based on the childhood memories of director Alfonso Cuarón, who is actually a child in the film.
