Synopsis of Barbara

Female doctor Babara (Nina Hoss) failed in her attempt to escape from the Democratic Republic of Germany to the Federal Republic of Germany, so she was transferred from Berlin to work in a rural hospital. At first, she did not interact with the people around her at all, until the doctor Andre ( Ronald Zehrfeld (played by Ronald Zehrfeld) takes the initiative to approach her. Stella, a new girl sent to the hospital, suffered from meningitis and gradually recovered under Babara's careful care. The girl was sent to a labor camp in East Germany because she was pregnant.
