Synopsis of Days of Glory

During World War II from 1944 to 1945, a group of Algerian Islamic boys were recruited into the French army to participate in the counterattack against Germany. Abu Deckard (Roschdy Zem) was awarded the rank of corporal for passing the military theory examination. Under the orders of his superiors, he led his brothers from the same village to organize the stern Sergeant Martinez (Bernard Blanc). (played by Ken Bernard Blancan). In the first training, the short boy Said (played by Jamel Debbouze) almost caused a catastrophe when he responded to the sergeant's inspection of a pitcher mine.
