Synopsis of King of the Hill

New director Steven, who became famous with his debut film "Sex, Lies, Videotape". Sodaberg unexpectedly chose a very unpopular subject in his next work, reflecting from the perspective of children how the poor lived through hardships during the 30 years of American economic collapse. The script is based on American writer A. E. Adapted from Heqina's childhood memories, the protagonist is a primary school student, his father is a salesman, his mother is ill and is hospitalized for recuperation, and his weak younger brother is forced to be sent to a relative's home for foster care. He lives alone in a small hotel, relying on the help of friends and his own improvisation to cope with the life of not having enough food. There is no complete story in the whole film, but the director recreated a special era through some vivid details and the actors' vivid performances. Child star Jesse. Bradford is very handsome and cute, and his performance is surprisingly wonderful.
