Synopsis of Killer's Kiss

Boxer David Corden (played by Jamie Smith) lives alone in a simple rental apartment. Opposite the window lives a beautiful dancer Gloria (played by Irene Kane), and David is gradually attracted to her. One night when David returned from a game, he suddenly found Gloria about to be raped. He rushed in and rescued his sweetheart. It turns out that the rapist was the owner of the nightclub where Gloreira worked (played by Frank Silvera), and he had to endure the humiliation in order to make a living. The two frustrated people had a close friendship and agreed to leave the sad place to find their happiness. David went out to raise travel expenses, and the nightclub owner was furious when he learned that Gloria was about to leave, and sent thugs to kidnap her... The film won the Best Director Award at the 1959 Locarno International Film Festival.
