Synopsis of critical moment

In the future world, the power of technology trumps everything else, and genes determine destiny, almost becoming a golden rule. Unfortunately Vincent (Ethan Hawke) is a man with a genetic defect that has been determined to be nearsighted and heart disease since birth. He can only live until the age of 30. So the parents gave Vincent a younger brother with excellent genes. Vincent's dream is to roam in space, but his bad genes prevent him from realizing his dream until he meets Jerome (Jude Law) at the space center. Jerome had excellent genes, but was half paralyzed in an accident. The two decided to switch identities. Vincent tried every means to hide his genetic information and carefully washed off his dandruff and hair every day to avoid exposing any clues. On the other hand, Jerome helps him prepare genetic items that need to be checked before entering space. Things are going very smoothly until a murder and an eyelash throw things off course.
