Synopsis of Dying Young

By chance, Hillary (Julia Roberts) got a job as a caregiver, and the person she wanted to care for was a millionaire named Victor (Campbell Scott). Victor suffered from leukemia and needed chemotherapy. Under Hillary's careful care, his condition gradually improved, and a deep relationship developed between the two. One day, Victor suddenly brought Hillary to a small town by the sea, where the two spent a happy and warm time. The good times did not last long, but the resurgence of the disease plunged Victor into pain, and in order to hide his illness, he began to secretly inject morphine to relieve pain. Hilary discovered Victor's secret, and she was heartbroken and begged him to continue receiving treatment, but the latter flatly refused. Is the disease really going to cruelly separate these loving lovers?
