Synopsis of Golden Marie

Manda (played by Serge Reggiani) is a kind and honest carpenter. One day, during a lively dance, Manda met a man nicknamed "The Golden Helmet" (Simon Signoret). The beauty and intelligence of Golden Helmet, a woman played by Simone Signoret, quickly attracted Mangda's attention and made him fall in love. It didn't take long for the two to come together. However, Jin Helmet's former lover was a member of the underworld. He couldn't bear that Golden Helmet was owned by others, so he asked Mangda for a duel. In the duel, Mengda became the victor, but had to embark on an escape journey with Jin Helm. The two hid in a remote and quiet village, living a happy life in isolation.
