Synopsis of Walkabout

The father drove the siblings away from the noisy city and went for a picnic in the wild. The happy sister (Jenny Agutter) and her younger brother did not expect that their father suddenly lost control in the wilderness, pulled out a gun and shot them. In the end, their father died in the explosion of the car. The siblings had no choice but to carry the remaining belongings and travel across the deserted plains. In the scorching sun, the siblings spent the night in a pile of rocks. When they were hungry and thirsty the next day, they found a small pond under a fruit tree. The resources of the small pond were quickly exhausted. In desperation, they met an indigenous man (David Gulpilil) who came to hunt. The indigenous man stayed to help them find water and food. The three of them continued in the wilderness. They walked forward until they found an abandoned hut in the woods. When the younger brother and the indigenous people were looking for food, they accidentally discovered a road, and the indigenous people witnessed the scene of white people shooting animals...
