Synopsis of Under the Skin

I don’t know since when, a mysterious woman (played by Scarlett Johansson) appeared on the desolate streets of Scotland. She was dressed in furs and drove a car, and her unsmiling face vaguely exuded charming charm. From time to time, she struck up conversations with men on the roadside, asked them for directions, and occasionally drove the men in her photos back together. She walked towards the darkness, and the men dominated by desire followed closely, but they were completely unaware of the abyss she had stepped into. A man is like a moth rushing to a flame, his bones and blood have been extracted, leaving only an empty skin, as thin as a cicada's wings. Until one night, the woman picked up an extremely ugly man. He is like a monster, knowing that he is ugly and hiding himself deeply. The woman accepted him as usual, and from the next day, it seemed that the woman found that she was quietly changing. She discovered the admirable aspects of this skin and enjoyed the pleasure of being a woman, but almost forgot her true face... The film is adapted from the novel by Michel Faber.
