Synopsis of The Experiment

Travis (Adrien Brody), who has recently lost his job, saw a job advertisement in the newspaper with a salary of US$14,000 for two weeks. Attracted by this, Travis happily went. It turned out that this was an experiment initiated by an institution. The researcher claimed that the experiment would be conducted in a state prison. 26 participants, including Travis, were divided into prison guards and prisoners. Prison guards must manage prisoners according to strict regulations and disobey orders. Those who do so will be punished. Originally I thought it was just a role-playing game where you could get money, but as the experiment progressed, the will of power gradually became apparent, and everyone seemed to be lost in the role... This film is adapted from the 2001 German film "Das Experiment", and the story is based on the novel "Black Box" by Mario Giordano.
