Synopsis of West of Memphis

The documentary "West Memphis" produced by the great director Peter Jackson made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival at the beginning of the year and received a lot of praise. The film focuses on the murder of three boys in Memphis, Arkansas, USA in 1993. All three suspects were sentenced to life imprisonment with suspended death. However, the three people have always claimed that they are innocent and continue to make various efforts in prison. In 2011, the three men received suspended sentences as new evidence emerged. This week the film released a new trailer. The director and screenwriter of "West Memphis" is Amy Berg, who was nominated for the 78th Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for "Emergency". He reconstructed everything of that year through this documentary, and Shows us investigations, lawsuits and a series of materials that have never been exposed.
