Synopsis of Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 2

In the late period of British rule in India, Shahid Khan robbed a British train in the name of the legendary King Sultana and was expelled from Wasseypur. Shahid Khan fled to Dhanbad and worked for the coal mine owner Remadehar Singh, but this resulted in a family feud. Ten years later, Shahid Khan's playboy son Sardar Khan vowed to avenge his father and became the overlord of Wasseypur. On the one hand, Sardar Khan battled wits and courage with the coal mine owner Remadehar Singh, the enemy who killed his father, in Dhanbad, and on the other hand, he faced off against the Qureshi tribe led by the previous overlord Sultan King in Wasaipur. Old grudges have not been avenged, new grudges have been made... The film uses a documentary-like approach and tells the intricate relationship between three gang groups against a historical background. It spans from 1940 to 2004, interspersed with Indian independence, the partition of Pakistan and India, and the bloody massacres between religious factions in India. Everything the Wasseypur gang has done bears traces of history.
