Synopsis of Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1

In the first half of the 20th century, British colonial rule in India came to an end. Different social systems and revolutionary undercurrents sweeping the world emerged one after another, and India entered the most turbulent period. Vasaipur, located in the center of Dhanbad, has become a symbol of chaos and riots. The powerful Shehid Khan (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) caused disputes by posing as King Sultana of the Qureshi tribe to hijack a train, and was eventually expelled from Wasepur. After several twists and turns, he worked for the coal mine owner Remadeha Singh (Tigmanshu Dhulia). He was killed by Singh because he conspired to rebel against the customer, and almost harmed his family.
