Synopsis of Deliverance

Due to the dam construction of the power plant, the Kahuwassee River will become a lake area and disappear. Louis (Burt Reynolds), Ed (Jon Voight), Bobby (Ned Beatty) ) and Drew (Ronny Cox), four adventure-loving and nature-loving friends, plan to go rafting on the Kahuwassee River on the weekend. The four found a guide in the depressed town that was about to become the Lake District, and finally arrived at the river bank. After simple preparations, they began their adventure. The next morning, Ed, who tried to hunt, found nothing. He was quite bored in front of the strong and agile Louis. He and Fat Bobby went down to the river to explore the way. However, they encountered two strangers with guns, who controlled them and captured them. Insulting him, Louis arrived and killed the stranger. The four people fled here in a hurry. At this time, the river became ferocious, the rapids and rocks were deadly everywhere, and an adventurous journey turned into a fatal journey...
