Synopsis of Postcards from the Edge

Susanna (played by Meryl Streep) was once a famous movie star, but now she is in dire straits, plagued by drug addiction and negative news. Finally, a drug overdose knocked her down and sent her to the hospital, which made Susanna realize that she could no longer degenerate like this. After being discharged from the hospital, agent Marty (Gary Morton) finally found a role for Susanna. However, at the rehearsal, Susanna encountered various difficulties.
