Synopsis of I Am.....

The film tells the story of the fate of an abandoned little boy Kondel (played by Piotr Jagielski) who continues to search for his own sense of belonging and his spiritual home. Kundel, who was abandoned by his mother since childhood, lived a life full of depression and restraint in the orphanage. The mother was bent on looking for the so-called true love, and she despised Kundel as a burden to herself. Instead of taking in her son, she ignored her own flesh and blood. Faced with his mother's abandonment, little Kundel burst into tears. Finally, the eleven-year-old Kundel resolutely escaped from the orphanage to find his own home. Kundel began his wandering life, living on an abandoned broken ship, and had a "home" here. Opposite the abandoned ship lived a wealthy family. The little girl was about the same age as him and had a good education and good living conditions. However, because of his ugly appearance, he was always ostracized and left out. Until he met Kondel, who was also lonely, the young hearts found comfort in each other. The film won the Special Tribute Best Film Award at the 2006 Berlin Film Festival.
