Synopsis of Oliver!

Oliver (Mark Lester) is an orphan who grew up in the church. At the age of nine, Oliver was sent to work in a factory and later became an apprentice in a funeral parlor. Oliver's intelligence and agility allowed him to quickly gain a foothold in the funeral home, but at the same time, he was also jealous of his companions. They deliberately provoked and angered Oliver, and finally Oliver left the funeral home. Homeless Oliver began a wandering life. After a long journey, he came to London. A pickpocket named Dodge (Jack Wild) brings Oliver to the bandit leader Fagin (Ron Moody), and in this way, Oliver becomes one of them.
