Synopsis of Cape Fear

Max (Robert De Niro) was prosecuted for rape, and he hired lawyer Sam (Nick Nolte) to defend himself; what he didn't know was that Sam was a feminist By. Out of righteous indignation, Sam deliberately concealed a piece of evidence that was favorable to Max during his defense, which ultimately led to Max being sentenced to six more years. Max, who originally didn't understand the law, discovered Sam's betrayal of him by studying law on his own in prison, and vowed to take revenge on Sam. Fast forward 14 years, Max was released after serving his sentence, and he began to launch his revenge plan. He first appeared near Sam's house, causing them to panic; then, the people Sam sent to deal with him were beaten to pieces by him; he then sneaked into Sam's house and killed the bodyguard and cook. The panicked Sam family fled to a place called "Cape Fear", and Max followed...
