Synopsis of Jacob's Ladder

Jacob Singer (played by Tim Robbins), a postal worker who currently works in New York, was a veteran of the Vietnam War who was in danger. The unbearable and broken memories stung every nerve of him, including his failed first marriage, his son who died in infancy, and the sequelae of the Vietnam War that tortured him the most. He often had hallucinations of being hunted while serving in the Vietnam War, and all kinds of familiar and unfamiliar details were both fantasy and reality. His current wife tried to help Jacob forget this painful memory, but these encounters between dreams and reality made Jacob completely lose his mind. Whenever there is a critical moment of life and death, Jacob will always wake up in another time and space. The illusion of what is true and what is false makes him unable to extricate himself from the world of reality and fantasy.
