The Wicker Man

Synopsis of The Wicker Man

In the 1970s, Scottish police officer Howie (Edward Woodward) received a letter stating that a girl named Ron Morrison on Summer Island, a small island on the west coast of Scotland, had been missing for a long time and was missing. Ask him for help in solving the case. Howie came to Xia Island to investigate and found that the atmosphere on the island was very strange. The residents first said they did not know the girl, and then said the girl was dead. But Howie never found the girl's body. The whereabouts of the missing girl become increasingly unclear. The truth of the case is becoming more and more confusing. Howie was surprised to find that the residents of the island were a group of pagans who did not believe in Jesus Christ. Lord Summer Island (played by Christopher Lee) seems to have great power and prestige. They did not cooperate with Howie's investigation. When Howie was about to leave the island, he discovered the tradition of using human sacrifices in the May celebration of the island. He was ready to find out, but he didn't know that danger was approaching him...
